Please print a copy of the NPSD OotM Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
Review the form, sign it and return the form to the coach of your child's OotM team.
For an OotM team to form, adult volunteers are needed to fill seven
specific positions. This allows for one parent of each team member
to support the team in a significant way. Other adults may volunteer
but team parents should recognize the importance of their participation.

Parents lucky enough to find the right OotM team for their child should realize the importance of supporting the team throughout the season. OotM should not be considered a drop-off activity. With help from every parent, the team is more likely to have a great experience participating in the program.
Important ways for every parent to support their child's OotM team:
Organize car pools.
Organize food, drinks, balloons, table cloths, etc for competition day.
Take time to find spontaneous problems on the web and gather materials.
Make noise! Support your team with enthusiasm and praise! Keep it positive!
Provide snacks for meetings.
Assist coaches with field trips for materials (Home Depot, craft store, etc.).
Respect the outside assistance rule.
Every coach needs an occasional break. Volunteer to assist at a meeting.
Never discourage an original idea!
Take photos throughout the OotM season.
Spontaneous Fun Night offers pizza and drinks. Organize desserts!
