Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the staff, students, and programs of our schools in the North Penn School District. We are truly very thankful that you have expressed an interest in volunteering in our district.

A North Penn School District Volunteer is defined as an individual who provides a service to students, staff or school/district operations without compensation. All volunteers in the school district who will be responsible for a child's welfare or will have direct volunteer contact with children on a regular and repeated basis will be required to submit the following clearances/certifications:

A total of three documents are required to volunteer with the district.


A North Penn School District Volunteer Affirmation may be provided in lieu of the Report of Federal Criminal History (fingerprinting) for those volunteers who have lived continuously within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years or individuals who have resided in Pennsylvania for less than 10 years but have obtained a federal fingerprint check at some point since they started residing in PA. Volunteers who have lived outside the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the last 10 years or who have not had a federal fingerprint check since moving into the Commonwealth will need to complete the Federal Criminal History (fingerprinting). In accordance with the Child Protective Services Law, all volunteers must obtained new clearances/certifications every 60 months.

Please submit the required documents in one packet to the address as listed below. Documents may also be personally presented for copying in the District's Office of School and Community Engagement at the address listed below for immediate return.
